Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Starting pay: $19.57 an hour
Main Ingredients of the Job
As a US FOODS® Trailer Washer, you will be responsible for:
- Washing the exterior of tractors and the interior of trailers, and moving equipment around the truck yard.
- Checking oil, washing windows, checking tire pressures, and maintaining proper fluid levels in tractors and T-K units.
- Reporting service issues to the maintenance shop.
- Logging assigned jobs in and out of the Shop Fax maintenance system.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.

What You Bring to the Table
Education/Training:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to drive and operate fleet equipment, tractors, trailers, and service vehicles.
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation activities on all fleet equipment.
- Ability to assess trailer and tractor sanitation requirements.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work irregular schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English related to job and safety regulations.
- CDL Class A preferred.
Related Experience/Requirements:
- Must have a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to operate fleet equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must be available to work Sunday through Thursday.
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, stooping, and occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
The expected base rate for this role is between $19.57 and $24.00 per hour.
This role will also receive:
- Overtime compensation
