Job Description

The Senior Underwriter partners with assigned Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage Specialized Industries, Institutional Client Group Corporate Banking credit account relationships. Grows revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. Sustains profitability and growth of unit(s). Provides strategic direction and leadership to pursue objectives of unit(s). Creates and maintains cost-effective programs for unit(s).

• Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field

• 10 or more years of banking experience

• Three or more years of management experience

• Preferred Skills/Experience

• Strong leadership abilities and strategic management skills

• Thorough knowledge of division and relation to industry

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00
