Sign-On Bonus Details:

$12,000 for therapists with** 0–1 year of experience** (2-year commitment)

$20,000 for therapists with** 1+ years of experience** (2-year commitment)

--- What You’ll Do:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you’ll provide life-saving care and support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. You’ll work under physician direction to deliver advanced therapies and interventions across a variety of settings, including:

Operating Rooms (OR), Emergency Department (ED), Cath Lab, and Transport

Administering Nitric Oxide (NO), Tracheal Gas Insufflation (TGI), and mechanical ventilation
-
Performing bronchoscopy, ABG lab troubleshooting, pulmonary function tests, EEG, EKG, stress testing, and more
-
Leading respiratory care procedures and mentoring students and staff
-
Responding to code situations and assisting with patient transport
You may also serve as a Lead Respiratory Therapist when needed, supporting team coordination and clinical excellence.

Must be a graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
-
Associate’s degree is preferred.

If you do not have an Associate’s degree, you must meet one
of the following: - Have5 to 7 years of respiratory care experience**,** or
-
Hold a National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
-
Must have at least 2 years of total respiratory care experience, including1 year in critical care.

Within 3 months of hire, you must select and get approval for one department-approved project.
-
This project must be completed during each annual performance review period.
Licensure, Certifications & Clearances: All Employees:
- Must have CPR certification that meets** AHA standards**, including both classroom and hands-on components, within30 days of hire.
If Practicing in Pennsylvania:

Must have a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in Pennsylvania.

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by the NBRC.
-
If you earned your RRT after July 1, 2002, you must maintain certification per NBRC requirements.

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Osteopathic Respiratory Care OR Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

Act 33 with renewal

Act 34 with renewal

Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
