UPMC Passavant, an ANCC Magnet-designated facility, is seeking a Casual Environmental Services Associate to join our team at our Mc Candless location.

This role is a weekend only position. The schedule is Saturdays and

Sundays6: 30am - 3pm.

Conveniently located just north of downtown Pittsburgh off Mc Knight Blvd, our campus is only minutes from Ross Park Mall.

What You'll Do:

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and equipment following established procedures

• Prepare rooms for new patients (including bed-making and discharge cleaning)

• Restock supplies such as paper products and soap to ensure areas are fully equipped

• Remove trash and maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards

• Inspect assigned areas to ensure quality and report any maintenance or repair needs

• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment

• Assist with moving furniture/equipment and completing special cleaning tasks as needed

• Follow all safety, infection control and organizational guidelines

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties.

• Ability to use housekeeping equipment.

• May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored.

• No contact with medications is allowed.
