Job overview and responsibilities
Studies, analyzes, and seeks solutions to problems related to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, modification, or repair of aircraft, and their components in a wide variety of engineering areas, including systems, structures. This job requires a structured, logical, and analytical approach in problem solving. Analyzes and implements regulatory requirements. Evaluates the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance. Evaluates the benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision to ensure an optimum balance of cost, asset utilization, quality, and reliability. Authors, designs, tests, and manages projects. Provides on-site technical support for line and base operations. Communicates with customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations. Interfaces with internal and external organizations regarding specific aircraft and component issues.

• Technical publications (AD, ASB, MSB, NPRM, SB etc.,) end to end management and continuously monitoring the embodiment.
• Coordinate with the OEM to obtain any deviations during the time of Technical Publication embodiment.
• Implementing and monitoring CPCP to detect, prevent, and manage corrosion, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
• Supporting in appropriate timeframe, technical issues ranging from routine troubleshooting to long-term reliability studies.
• Evaluation of reliability data and alert notification to perform root cause analysis to develop or identify corrective actions.
• Provide engineering assistance to the Base/Heavy maintenance aircraft, if necessary.
• Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency
• Organize and manage the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplish the work processes to meet all the deliverables for projects or maintenance program changes/technical specification revisions

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

• B.E / B.Tech. Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Aerospace), related technical field or equivalent relative work experience
• Minimum of 8 years at an engineer level or similar role elsewhere in the industry
• Successful candidate will have working knowledge of airline or OEM operations
• Knowledge of Code of Regulations (CFRs), airworthiness design and substantiation criteria, aircraft and equipment design and operational characteristics
• Ability to interpret complex and technical Engineering and OEM (SRM, AMM, IPC etc.,) documents.
• Familiarize with Airbus and Boeing Tools.
• Highly detailed level project development and management for regulatory compliance modifications, and overall ownership of specific systems
• Effective communication skills and strong stakeholder management is essential
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

• Responsible for studying, analysing, and seeking solutions to problems related to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, modification, or repair of aircraft and their components.
• Play a key role in shaping regulatory requirements and evaluating the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance.
• Take ownership of authoring, designing, testing, and managing projects, including technical publications and end-to-end management.
• Deliver high-quality on-site technical support for line and base operations, and communicate with customers regarding technical issues and work scope recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to interface with internal and external organisations regarding specific aircraft and component issues.
• Lead efforts to implement and monitor CPCP for corrosion management, ensuring long-term structural integrity.
• Help drive innovation in evaluating reliability data, alerting to perform root cause analysis, and developing or identifying corrective actions.
• Provide engineering assistance to the Base/Heavy maintenance aircraft and coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
