THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Strategic Portfolio Delivery (SPD) team sits within the Transformation Office (TO) at Ulta Beauty, and is responsible for executing the company’s largest strategic initiatives. This role will report into a Sr. Program Manager within the SPD team and will be working on several programs.

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Portfolio Delivery will be responsible for working closely with the SPD and broader TO teams, and with colleagues at all levels and functions across the company to advance relevant programs. These efforts will include managing key program deliverables, including a RAIDD log and program workplan, communicating status to various stakeholders, and preparing program and project update materials.

A successful candidate must be naturally curious, self-motivated, able to prioritize effectively, and possess very strong analytical and communication skills. Further, the individual in this role should have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex items simultaneously. This individual will participate in highly visible projects for senior leadership and the Board of Directors that will have a significant impact on the direction of the company, and therefore should demonstrate strong executive presence and possess superior presentation skills.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Support the delivery of key strategic initiatives through managing program deliverables
  • Develop program progress updates as needed
  • Work with cross-functional teams on select initiatives to assess progress, identify risks, and pursue relevant actions
  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; manage resources; identify, raise and mitigate issues and risks, and hold self and team accountable for results
  • Ensure project documentation, decisions and specifications are formally documented and maintained
  • Track program financials as required
  • Engage with external partners to provide relevant support
  • Assist with program management governance rituals
  • Exhibit solution-oriented approaches to program management with a bias for action

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience; prior experience within a Transformation Office (or similar or in Consulting) preferred
  • BA/BS degree (pre-MBA)
  • Highly motivated - exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments, and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy
  • Comfort with ambiguity – ability to synthesize implications and triangulating from various data sources
  • Well organized - ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and in collaborative manner in a cross-functional environment
  • Advanced in PowerPoint; Proficient in Excel, PowerBI (not required) and MS Office
  • Experience in retail or consumer products preferred

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $115,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
