About the role

Description

Our Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Psychologist to join the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) Clinic. The Clinic offers annualized, evidence-based social skills programming for youth and adults who are struggling socially. Primary duties include:

  • Evaluate and monitor symptoms, difficulties, and strengths/resources using interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests
  • Provide individual, group, and family treatment and intervention
  • Communicate recommendations to patients and families at program visits and in written reports
  • Provide care management and support

Salary range: $61.47/hr - $81.06/hr

Qualifications

Ph

D or PsyD in Psychology:

Valid CA Psychologist License:

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and scoring programs for assessment measures used in ADDPC/ADDC

Prior experience developing intervention programs for child and adolescents

Prior experience managing behavior of individuals with psychiatric disorders across the life course

Extensive experience working with children and families

Extensive training in a variety of psychological assessment measures

Extensive knowledge of evidence-based interventions

Extensive experience conducting behavioral analyses and implementing behavior intervention techniques

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated organizational skills and time management skills

Ability to handle confidential patient information
