Rate of Pay:$388,918 to $466,702 per year

Duties: Manage and develop Production Engineering team, oversee platform, and ensure that processes are running smoothly. Lead Production Engineering/SRE teams in a large, complex environment to identify efficiencies and develop plans to improve the production platforms and processes. Collaborate with various program and platform teams to develop technical roadmaps for engineering initiatives. Identify project scope and requirements while ensuring teams have appropriate resources. Develop, plan, and execute various projects across company platforms. Mentor new team members on both technical and organizational challenges while providing technical expertise for various projects. Assist in establishing team goals and direction. Help lead recruiting and interview activities. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and readily identifies issues to higher stakeholders. Work cross-functionally across the organization to optimize software and find creative solutions for customer issues. Monitor performance of team. Supervise at least 1 Software Engineer / 15-1252; Software Developers. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

  1. Building enterprise applications, services, and frameworks;
  2. Driving engineering and operational excellence initiatives;
  3. Managing and delivering multiple streams of initiatives in parallel;
  4. Setting strategic vision, and driving process and system efficiencies;
  5. Designing and building applications and services of scale;
  6. Identifying trends and promoting solutions across multiple product areas;
  7. Developing engineering tools and platforms;
  8. Architecting and driving technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for network operations;
  9. Partnering and collaborating with engineering stakeholders, product managers, and program managers;
  10. Programming language concepts: Go, Python, or Java;
  11. Relational database concepts: SQL or MySQL;
  12. Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
  13. Debugging and monitoring for production services;
  14. Distributed system: Service Oriented Architecture.
