About the Role:

We are seeking a PhD Graduate to join our team as we continue to grow our global footprint. This is an opportunity to work with a stellar team on the daily functions that are at the core of Uber's platform engineering efforts.

We have great opportunities ahead to centralize changes across various deployment systems for stateful and stateless services, ML models, dynamic configuration, Cloud resources, secrets, and more. Our platform makes informed decisions with a high degree of precision and accuracy, to detect incidents and regressions early and automatically, thereby minimizing the risk of outages. You will take an active role in designing, implementing and shipping step improvements of our system in order to automate regression detection, and enable autonomous repair/mitigation actions.

Basic qualifications:

• Recently PhD graduated with a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering from Aarhus University
• Experience coding with Go, C++, Java, Python or similar programming language

• Comfortable working with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment
