About the Role

In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to ensure smooth, disciplined execution of strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides comprehensive financial insight into the business through regional and functional business partnering, forecasting and budgets, and pricing and incentives.

You will be supporting the Uber Eats team in the ANZ region and will be in a unique position with access to the overall business. This will allow you to reach insights others might not have access to. In addition to supporting our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts, you'll be able to turn these insights into initiatives, running them and helping drive strategic decisions. Your Impact in Role

• Financial planning and analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, to support business strategies and initiatives.
• Insights: Prepare insightful weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and practical recommendations.
• Business optimization: Perform in-depth variance analysis, identify areas for cost optimization, revenue growth, and profitability improvement.
• Innovate: Support the development and improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes to streamline reporting and analysis.
• Special projects: new initiatives always come up, you will have the chance to contribute beyond regular modelling

What You Will Need

• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS or other relevant subject
• Experience in banking, corporate finance or operational FP&A role at either a high-growth company or a large, well-established organization;
• Elite Excel / Google Sheet skills
• Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable and intuitive
• Experience with enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software package
• Attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter - you will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
• Standout colleague - this is a highly collaborative and encouraging team environment
• Excellent communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people
• Ability to prioritise - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and has the ability to optimally multitask
