About the Role

One of Uber's top strategic priorities is growing the number of opportunities that Earners have to help them maximize their earning potential on Uber. In this foundational role, you will shape the critical, global platform that determines how millions of people gain and retain access to earning opportunities worldwide.

Your success will not only translate to helping Uber achieve its growth goals while improving trust and safety on the platform, but also help those who need it most: millions of drivers globally use Uber to meet financial needs at all points on the continuum, from putting food on the table, to generating spending money during grad school, to saving up for a special vacation.

What the Candidate Will Do:

1. Own the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch. You will be the CEO of your product area, responsible for setting a compelling vision and leading execution to drive measurable impact.
2. Champion cross-functional collaboration with global product managers, engineering, data science, and operations teams across multiple time zones to deliver holistic solutions.
3. Translate ambiguous business challenges into technical, well-written product requirements and specifications, guiding your engineering team from broad concepts to global reality.
4. Present high-stakes plans and represent your team's vision to senior leadership.
5. Serve as a cultural leader and as our singular voice of Product on the ground in India for the Earner Eligibility team.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 4 years of Product Management experience demonstrating clear ownership and results.
2. Exceptional ability to uplevel complex, technical topics and communicate them clearly to executive leadership and diverse stakeholders.
3. A relentless drive to ship complex, scalable platform products.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in a platform role, transforming numerous use cases into unified, scalable solutions.
2. Exceptional technical fluency-you can debate architecture and define the nuances of a platform API with engineers.
3. Outstanding business and product sense-you can see how impacting one component in a complex system affects many others downstream.
4. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-time-zone teams. This will be a cross-functional role, with partner teams spanning multiple offices globally.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
