Commercial Strategy & Operations Associate
About the Role
As Commercial Strategy & Operations Associate, you will be our source of truth in understanding how the Uber Eats sales business is performing. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, operating as a lynchpin between global and local to remove obstacles to APAC's growth, and identify regional opportunities to translate into programs of work.
Working closely with the Regional GTM Lead and cross-functional partners, you will inform our go-to-market strategy, ensuring our priorities are data-driven, locally relevant and operationally sound. You will play a crucial role in communicating the 'so-what' of our data to empower our frontline teams to perform at their best.
The Impact You'll Have
1. Translate regional strategic insights into scalable, market-ready GTM programmes that drive commercial impact across diverse sales models
2. Drive cross-functional coordination and delivery of key sales cadences
3. Design and manage commercial dashboards
4. Monitor performance across markets, identify execution gaps, and develop targeted recommendations to drive alignment and improvement
5. Partner with Regional GTM Lead and senior stakeholders to refine GTM roadmap, support strategic planning cycles, and guide resource prioritisation
The Experience You'll Bring
1. 3+ years of experience in commercial strategy, GTM or business operations in an analytical capacity
2. Experience working across functions or markets, ideally within a matrixed or regional environment
3. Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
4. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity
Bonus Points
We value a blend of technical "know-how" and business "know-why." You're a great fit if you have:
1. The Technical Foundation: Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools (like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI) is essential. You should be comfortable manipulating large datasets and ensuring they "talk" to each other correctly.
2. Sales Context: You understand how a sales funnel works. You know the difference between a lead and an opportunity, and you understand the levers that drive revenue.
3. Operational Mindset: You don't just find problems; you build systems to fix them. Experience in Sales Ops or Revenue Ops is a significant plus.
4. Strategic Communication: You can explain complex data models to a non-technical audience in a way that inspires action, not confusion.
5. Go-Get-It Mentality: You enjoy the pace of a growing company. You are comfortable with ambiguity and are excited by the prospect of having total ownership over your domain.
Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let's move it forward, together.

Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time. Please speak with your recruiter to better understand in-office expectations for this role.
