About the Role:

We're looking for a strategic, commercially driven marketing leader to head the US & Canada Regional Marketing organization for Uber. In this role, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary team responsible for driving brand strength and business growth across our core lines of business, including Mobility, Delivery, and Membership

You will lead the development of integrated, full-funnel marketing strategies that deliver against both brand and commercial objectives, while ensuring alignment to regional priorities and global frameworks. This role requires a strong operator with deep marketing expertise, exceptional commercial acumen, strong creative judgment, and the ability to lead at scale in a highly cross-functional, fast-paced environment

You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Product, Operations, Strategy, Comms, Policy, and Global Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategies that serve our customers, shape our brand and drive measurable business impact

This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing and serves as a key member of the global marketing leadership team

  • What You'll Do

  • Regional Strategy & Leadership Lead the US & Canada marketing organization, setting the vision, strategy, and priorities across all lines of business. Align marketing efforts to business goals, regional priorities, and global frameworks to drive cohesive and impactful outcomes- Brand & Business Growth
    Own the development of integrated marketing programs that balance long-term brand building with short- and medium-term commercial impact, driving growth across Mobility, Delivery, and Membership

  • Full-Funnel Marketing Excellence
    Oversee the development of best-in-class, full-funnel marketing strategies-from awareness to conversion to retention-ensuring a seamless and effective customer journey across all touchpoints

  • Creative & Agency Leadership Oversee the development of high-impact, best-in-class creative across all marketing initiatives, ensuring work is insight-driven, on-brand, and delivers against both creative and commercial objectives. Lead the regional agency ecosystem, including creative, media, and production partners, setting a high bar for quality, driving strong collaboration, and ensuring efficient, effective delivery across all campaigns

  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    Serve as a key strategic partner to Product, Operations, Strategy, and other cross-functional teams, bringing a strong customer and commercial lens to business decisions and ensuring marketing is deeply embedded in key initiatives

  • Commercial & Analytical Rigor
    Drive a data-led approach to marketing, partnering with Analytics and Insights teams to define success metrics, evaluate performance, and continuously optimize strategy and execution

  • Organizational Leadership & Team Development
    Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing, multi-disciplinary marketing team. Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and operational excellence while ensuring strong talent development and succession planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience leading consumer marketing teams, with significant time in senior leadership roles

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, integrated marketing organizations and delivering both brand and business growth

  • Deep expertise across brand and retail marketing, with experience managing full-funnel strategies

  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability, with experience using data to inform decision-making and optimize performance

  • Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations with multiple lines of business or product portfolios

  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams

  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and driving efficient, ROI-focused investment decisions

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a wide range of functions

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering closely with Product, Operations, and Strategy teams

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution

  • For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$279,000 per year**

  • USD**$310,000 per year**.

  • For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$279,000 per year**

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
