About the Role

The role will be responsible for working on financial fraud mitigation, false positive and customer experience management primarily on Uber for Business, and its assorted sub-business lines. The person in this role will be tasked with looking at all aspects of this business to ensure fraud is effectively mitigated.

What the Candidate Will Do

1. Strong data fluency with the ability to manipulate datasets, design test plans, and translate insights into clear strategies.
2. Proven experience building, managing, and scaling complex processes in fast-moving environments.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort presenting data-driven insights to senior, sophisticated audiences.
4. Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder-management capabilities, building deep trust across cross-functional teams.
5. Highly self-motivated, organized, and resilient, with a high-energy, optimistic working style and strong independent ownership.

What the Candidate Will Need

1. 5+ years of experience in Fraud, Risk, or Marketplace Operations with deep operational and domain understanding.
2. Strong data analysis capability with advanced SQL proficiency and excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
3. Data-driven problem solver with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear strategies and actionable recommendations.
4. Proven strength in stakeholder management and navigating complex cross-functional matrices with effective change-management skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to operate independently, make sound judgments, and influence decisions through data.
