SEO Specialist Job Listing The Digital Marketing & Web Analysis team is looking for an SEO Specialist. As a member of the DMWA team (Digital Marketing & Web Analysis), you are naturally curious and passionate about the digital space. You are driven to solve problems and explore opportunities. You approach problems from a creative perspective searching for ways to better the experience for our customers. As an SEO Specialist, you will identify target keyword topics, and provide on-page and off-page recommendations for SEO coding, structure, content and linking best practices. You will provide weekly to monthly optimization recommendations for various U-Haul programs. You will work with Digital Marketers and Analysts to measure the success of your recommendations. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of providing SEO recommendations and executing successful SEO campaigns for clients, either in-house or as part of an agency. This role will provide you with an opportunity to make your voice heard through regular meetings with program managers and top executives. Communicate these recommendations to fellow Team Members and Program Managers as necessary in order to achieve goals. - Analyze on-page, off-page, and technical factors of the site and provide recommendations to improve its overall SEO health - Create and review detailed campaign performance data and future looking strategic roadmaps. - Conduct periodic keyword research, technical and content audits and competitor analysis to discover new SEO opportunities - Optimize key elements of category, sub-category, and product pages throughout the site, including navigation, internal links, semantic markup, crawling/indexing directives, title tags, meta descriptions, h1 headers, and more - Increase the visibility and knowledge of SEO within the global organization including preparing and presenting SEO best practices and helping define SEO as a KPI for all relevant teams. - Analyze, track and report on overall natural search performance and initiatives - Stay up-to-date with industry news, including the latest SEO trends, tools, algorithm updates, and more Qualities of an ideal candidate: - Enthusiastic and self-motivated - Logical and methodical approach to problem solving - Works well in groups and individually - Passionate about continual learning and applying what you’ve learned - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to effectively communicate SEO insight to internal stakeholders - Must be detail-oriented - Basic understanding of the different phases of the customer journey - Must be able to multi-task and take initiative with projects
