U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking to hire an experienced IT Technical Recruiter to work in a fast paced, process-focused environment. Must be a self-starter, take direction well, have a creative, “think on your feet” attitude, and able to execute effectively against a set of directives. Our IT departments consist of over 200 talented IT professionals supporting our business models including equipment rental, customer service, manufacturing, storage and insurance. Our company and technology is progressive as we continually look for ways to improve our business by using the latest technologies. Perform full-cycle recruiting to include prospecting, pre-employment testing and interviewing for direct hire IT technical positions. Assess resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Conduct interviews both over the telephone, via Skype, and in person as appropriate. Maintain two-way communication with candidates and hiring managers’ through-out the selection process. Initiate the new hire onboarding process, which may include a variety of activities such as drug screening, background checks, reference checks, and orientation. Work closely with hiring managers to understand how the functions of a technical role fits into the needs of the business. Develop a solid understanding of the available IT positions by gaining an understanding of the applicable technologies, industry, local talent market, competitive landscape, and key talent as it relates to a position. Develop and maintain a dynamic Social Media presence to advertise and communicate open positions on a continual basis (i.e. social networking IT groups, job boards and other specialty groups). Utilize online sourcing databases (CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed, DICE, etc.) to find quality candidates. Strategize ways to build talent pipeline and regularly track pipeline activity. Find and engage passive candidates using available recruiting tools and resources to deliver highly qualified candidates. Log, update and maintain information in applicant tracking system. Work Status: Full-Time ## Qualifications - Minimum of 2-5 years of full-cycle IT recruiting experience. - B.S. preferred in IT Technology (but not required). - Sharp interview skills with ability to screen for both technical and cultural qualities. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Superior multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding hiring targets and staying focused on quality. - Ability to think outside the box and be innovative in finding candidates. - Willingness to work extended hours/weekends when necessary. - Experience with numerous Social media platforms, websites, and IT focus organizations. - Positive, fun, can-do attitude. - Experience working in a very fast-paced environment. ## Additional Information Submit your application online at: http://jobs.uhaul.com/job_detail.aspx?aval_job_id=153811&mode=
