Functions:

To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.

Receive training as required.

Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
Tasks:
-
Team Member is responsible for inspecting packages for packaging defects based on the job ticket information, place the correct packages into the cases and seal the cases as required.
-
Will also be responsible for controlling manual palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack on pallet containers of finished products.
-
Responsible for ensuring that product stacks are being properly prepared and that product is properly graded.
-
Prepare product stacks according to customer and Tyson quality specifications. (Special instructions may be included in the job ticket and/or stated by QA).

Know approximate weights of product for orders.

Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

The Team Member must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 61 pounds.

The Team Member will use both hands equally.
-
The Team Member will be regularly required to stand, use hands/fingers to handle, or feel.

The Team Member will be frequently required to walk.
-
The Team Member will use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.

The Team Member will work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.
Applicants will be considered for Labor level openings. Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job.
