These positions start at $22.15/HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 2nd shift positions)

Job Description:

These positions are responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility include Shipping, Receiving, or Production. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs

• The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas

• The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors

• The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas

• The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment

• The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces

Requirements:

• Must have 3 months experience listed on application (can be with multiple employers but must add up to 3 months)

• Prefer 3 months of Forklift Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Applicants will be considered for Operator level openings. Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job. Applicants may choose from any of the roles listed below based on availability: Forklift positions include Extended Run, Forklift Operator, Order Selector Operator, and Yard Driver Operator.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
