Job Details:

$19.25/hr with a $1.00 shift premium for 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

Assist Supervisor with department set-up and daily operations.

Ensure compliance with USDA, production, and HACCP requirements.

Monitor shoulder cuts, debone mechanical issues, and meat supply.

Make staffing decisions based on product flow, mix, and attendance.

Relieve line personnel as needed and fill in for absenteeism.

Perform wash down during breaks and maintain general housekeeping.

Serve as Supervisor backup during their absence.

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements:

The Applicant must have a least six (6) months of Lead experience with single employer within the last 12 months

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
