Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Human Resources Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Compensation Analyst.

Reporting to the Compensation Manger, the person in this role will support the team's objective to lead compensation proposals, projects and processes. This position works closely with internal stakeholders, HR business partners, employees and management to develop compensation solutions.

This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acts as subject matter expert of compensation wages/salaries and bonus programs.

  • Leads complex regional projects to support business initiatives (e.g. market competitiveness).

  • Provides guidance to HR Business Advisors and the business on compensation needs.

  • Contributes to the success of the compensation team by providing leadership, support to the Compensation Manager, and mentorship to team members

What you bring

  • Broad understanding of compensation theory, principles and practices to perform independent analysis of programs using market data

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Project and change management skills

  • Expert data mining skills

  • Quantitative analysis skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (assessment will be administered)

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills

  • Experience in finance, budgeting, and/or forecasting

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) OR equivalent professional work experience

Added bonus if you have

  • Proven ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Workday system experience

  • Experience presenting to executive level audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) specifically in Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business

  • Knowledge of automotive or manufacturing industries
