Context & Environment

Ensuring product deliveries in the best safety, operational and financial conditions is key for the affiliate’s business

Transport is a high-risk activity in terms of safety, the level of risk may be aggravated by:

• Bad road conditions
• Security conditions in some areas of Mozambique
• Remoteness of several delivery locations
• Lack of enforcement of road regulations
• Lack of road safety awareness of road users
• Level of driver’s induction training.
• Performance levels of some transporters.

To effectively manage and minimize HSSE risk within area of responsibility by ensuring:

• Compliance with all HSSE Policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirements
• Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies

Ensure that HSSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within area of responsibility

Activities

• HSSE:
• Promote and enforce Total Energies’s Golden Rules and all other applicable rules governing transportation
• Improve transportation safety performance.
• Implement Total Energies standards
• INTEGRITY:
• Ensure code of conduct is strictly followed internally as well as by the transporters.
• Ensure compliance with the Group rules and procedures in all business aspects.
• Offer the best possible service to internal and external clients.
• Respect commitments to business lines and customers.
• Transportation Activity:Ensure PATROM, HSSE rules and local regulations are adhered to
• Monitor OBC events
• Monitor vehicle and driver compliance to ensure continuity of operations

Improve the performance of transporters

Candidate Profile

• University graduate in Engineering with professional experience in the transportation industry and in team management.
• Proven Computer skills with high proficiency in MS office package tools.
• Knowledge of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (HSSE) industry standards.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken Portuguese and English.

Good analytical and negotiation capabilities
