Our Organization

The Merchandising Allocations organization is responsible for the solutions that enable the many TJX divisions to ensure the right stores receive the right merchandise at the right time. These solutions contain the proprietary logic that drives the TJX “treasure hunt”. The Allocations team oversees a large and complex legacy solution landscape undergoing a major modernization effort. The modernization scope includes ~70 legacy applications reimagined into 10 products, collectively called the Global Store Allocation System (GSAS), that will reside in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

As a Staff Engineer supporting Merchandising-Allocations, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering globally distributed, high-uptime applications in cloud that are critical to our modernization journey.

What you will need

We are looking for an experienced staff software engineer who has a broad technical domain experience. Someone who is not afraid of continuous learning and improving themselves and the team. With us you will have a chance to collaborate with other software engineers and be able to work with and influence full stack solutions. You will need a passion for collecting and developing knowledge and building expertise of our solutions and business model. You are also expected to contribute to full software development life cycle, including hands on coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, DevOps, engineering excellence and operations excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with full stack development skills (C#, Front End: Blazor/React/Angular, Rest APIs, Entity framework, Bicep, Azure, DevOps etc.)
• Strong Experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs & Event Grids
• Experience/Exposure with Dev Sec Ops in Azure Space using GitHub
• Experience building and supporting scalable, high-performance applications
• Experience with agile delivery model

Preferred Qualifications

Azure Certifications are a plus.

Front end development using Blazor is a plus.
