Job Description: What You’ll Experience:

Throughout your internship in our Portugal Buying Office, you will be exposed to professional development, networking and have the opportunity to:

• Learn how a TJX Buying Office operates and how Merchandise Assistants provide diversified support for multiple buyers in a dynamic fast-paced work environment.
• Actively collaborating with Merchandise Assistants to enter and follow up purchase orders for buyers across multiple departments
• Support the team in communicating with vendors regarding purchase orders modifications/changes
• Learn how to create and run reports for buyers as needed (On Order, Sales, etc.)
• Assists in preparing for Style Out and Strategy meetings by gathering samples, preparing selling recaps, etc.
• Gain exposure to special projects carried over by the team (i.e. recap projects, trend recaps, trend boards, etc.)
• Build strong connections with colleagues across different areas of business including our global offices

Who We Are Looking For: You!

• Advanced Portuguese and English proficiency (Spanish is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
