We're seeking an Allocation Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this fast-paced environment your ability to blend data-driven and qualitative insights will make a real impact. What You’ll Do:

  • Our Off-Price business model is unlike any other retailer, so we’ll make sure you have the right classroom and on-the-job training to give you a head start on a long-term career in Merchandising. At TJX, Merchandising is comprised of two divisions – Planning & Allocation and Buying; together they work to drive sales and increase profit. Our Buyers are global travelers, sourcing from a universe of over 21,000 vendors and more than 100 countries to deliver amazing merchandise at an exciting value to our customers every day. They collaborate with Planning & Allocation to create the treasure hunt experience that we’re known for. Your journey will begin in Planning & Allocation as an Allocation Analyst.
  • In this role, you will be empowered to help drive sales by allocating the exciting mix of product our Buyers have purchased.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Optimize product mix at store level through analysis and allocation to maximize profitable sales.
  • Develop weekly shipping strategies by analyzing sales trends, inventory, store volumes, and demographics.
  • Monitor and interpret inventory levels to ensure alignment with sales plans, tracking store sales and inventory ratios.
  • Evaluate and critique product mix through store visits and competitor analysis, sharing findings and actionable plans.
  • Identify and implement business opportunities by forecasting sales trends, researching market trends, and providing strategic recommendations.

About You:

  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree in Retail or Business Management preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to build strong partnerships across teams.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, clearly conveying insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
