Responsibilities
The Client Partner role is directly responsible for business development in the Apps ecosystem, identifying prospects and industry trends, building relationships, and helping clients drive business results on Tik Tok. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional business acumen, passion for growing revenue, outstanding ability to set strategic vision, and a proven track record in execution. Success in this position requires strong sales, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the evolving digital advertising landscape and recommending growth strategies and approaches that align with their business objectives. By leveraging Tik Tok's creative capabilities and data-driven insights, you will empower clients to develop and execute campaigns that drive measurable results and business growth.
METAP (Middle East, Africa, Turkey & Pakistan) Apps team covers the following industries: utilities, fintech, lifestyles (social & dating, health & fitness) and services (ride-hailing, education, superapps). The highly dynamic client base originates from across Eastern Europe, Turkey and MENA and are scaling their businesses globally.
- Analyze the App industry market, opportunities, trends and act on it, with key KPIs on increasing existing advertiser adoption, and net new active advertiser growth.
- Foster Client Relationships: Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with key clients and agencies, positioning yourself as a trusted partner who can recommend and drive solutions that leverage Tik Tok's product offerings.
- Oversee Client development: in close partnership with Client Solutions & other cross-functional teams (Mar Sci, Creative, Product, Finance) to ensure the seamless execution of product-driven campaigns that meet client objectives.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with product teams to ensure clients are utilizing the latest Tik Tok features and products, contributing feedback and insights to help shape future product development.
- Drive Business Growth: Focus on client retention, upsell opportunities, and renewals by identifying how Tik Tok's products can deliver long-term value and foster deeper client engagement.
- Conduct Business Reviews: Lead regular business reviews with clients, ensuring the continued success and optimization of their campaigns and Tik Tok product usage, while exploring new opportunities for growth.
- Optimize and Troubleshoot: Proactively identify and resolve any issues regarding AD campaigns during campaign planning & execution, working closely with internal teams to ensure fast and efficient solutions.
- Serve as the voice-of-the-customer, providing insights/feedback on product, operations, and opportunities to build and expand Tik Tok for Business solutions for APPs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in sales roles at social media advertising platforms or user acquisition, with a strong background in digital marketing, account management, or consultancy, preferably with clients or agencies representing relevant industries.
- Data-driven approach: Demonstrated ability to analyze and use data to analyze market and opportunities, drive decisions, create business growth strategies.
- Client-Centric: A natural communicator and relationship builder, committed to delivering solutions that foster client satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to align marketing strategies with client goals.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and trends in the relevant sector.
- Language: Due to the needs of the markets and clients, this role will be covered. Proficiency in Russian/Turkish and English is essential

- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
- Proven ability to gain internal stakeholder support across product, marketing, and support teams while advocating for customers.
