Responsibilities:

The frontend team in Tik Tok Multimedia Arch is responsible for platforms and toolings that cover a set of platforms that facilitate the whole Tik Tok video lifecycle from creation to consumption. The platform includes multimedia creation platforms, data platforms, strategy platforms, debug platforms and AI platforms etc. The content covers big data virtualizations, machine learning strategies, portraits and causal inference analysis etc.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at Tik Tok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at Tik Tok.

Internships at Tik Tok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to Tik Tok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with frontend, backend and data teams to develop and ship new user experiences and features on Tik Tok platforms.
• Conduct research on product and technical solutions, as well as fullstack development with high quality code for Multimedia Arch.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Proficiency in Typescript, ES5/6, CSS, and various layouts.
• Understanding of component-based development ideas, familiarity with React, or any other equivalent library/framework.
• Proficiency in Go development, database design and development.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good team communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026
