Team Introduction
The Tik Tok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with LIVE creators, agencies, and partnership organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

About the Internship:

Tik Tok's internship program offers students real-world exposure and hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. You'll participate in impactful projects, development workshops, and social events, all while building core professional skills. This is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully and explore a potential career path with us.

As a LIVE Content & Social Media Operations Intern, you will support the execution of Tik Tok LIVE ANZ campaigns through content creation, official account operations, and performance tracking. You will work closely with Campaign Managers, Creator Management, and Marketing partners to help bring campaigns and events to life through short-form video storytelling and platform amplification.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about Tik Tok, content creation, and the creator economy, who wants hands-on experience inside a fast-paced global tech company.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Publishing
  • Support the creation of short-form videos for the Tik Tok LIVE ANZ Official Account, including campaign highlights, creator showcases, educational content, and event recaps.
  • Assist with video editing, caption writing, hashtag selection, and publishing to ensure content is timely, accurate, and on-brand.
  • Repurpose campaign and event materials (online and offline) into engaging short-form content.
  • Official Account Operations
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Tik Tok LIVE ANZ Official Account, including content scheduling, calendar updates, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

  • Monitor comments, trends, and community feedback on published content and flag insights to the team.

  • Track basic official account performance metrics (views, engagement, shares) and assist with weekly reporting.

  • Campaign & Event Support

  • Assist Campaign Managers with content needs for online campaigns, offline events, and hybrid activations (e.g., creator meetups, industry events).

  • Help collect and organize campaign assets (videos, photos, creator submissions) for internal use and external publishing.

  • Support post-campaign and post-event content wrap-ups, including highlight videos and recap posts.

  • Trend & Insight Support

  • Track local ANZ Tik Tok trends, creator formats, and viral content styles to inform content ideation.

  • Contribute ideas for creative formats that align with LIVE campaigns and official account objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Tik Tok, short-form video content, and the creator economy.
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g., Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable working in English (written and verbal).
  • Able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running or contributing to a Tik Tok account (personal, school, or internship).
  • Familiarity with LIVE streaming or creator-led content.
  • Creative mindset with a good sense of internet culture and trends.
  • Ability to take feedback well and iterate quickly.
