Shop-Data Scientist, Logistics

About the Team:

The data analytics team will be responsible for data analysis of Tik Tok e-commerce's US e-commerce logistics operations.

• Responsible for data analysis of Tik Tok e-commerce's US logistics operations
• Maintain & improve operation performance index; assist top management to monitor the weekly and bi-monthly operation performance; analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Cooperate with logistics team to set strategy, e.g. Fulfillment network design, warehouse efficiency optimization, capacity management
• Follow-up data analysis of operation teams in several overseas markets, support operation and provide optimization suggestions
• Cooperate with Products and ETL teams to define system requirements, build data products, improve and roll-out product features to support business

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree holder in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or Computer Science

• Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python or R

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in US logistics or US E-Commerce site fulfillment process (Amazon FBA/SFP; Ebay/Walmart/Shopify) is a strong plus

• Experience in logistics or supply-chain related analysis; Familiar with fulfillment network design, inventory management, US logistics carrier optimization
  -High energy, self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment
