About the Team:

The success of Tik Tok's data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth. Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period (full-time).

We're looking for highly capable Data Solutions Interns to build the next generation of data solutions in support of industry leading products and services in the space of Monetization and Integrity that Tik Tok provides. You will be assessing business needs, innovating across your given resources, and navigating across both business and technical XFN stakeholder teams.

• Drive analytics and insights to aid business decisions and the quantification impact of initiatives through experimentation and framework testing
• Create insightful reports to track labelling business KPIs, monitor quality performance, and recommend best practices
• Work with our data scientist to support analytics projects like predicted performance, handling time, etc.
• Conduct research and market sizing of industries deriving actionable recommendations
• Track the progress of data labeling projects and manage key metrics
• Support testing and evaluation of core capabilities like agentic frameworks etc.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate, or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in Computer Science, Engineering, Data analytics, Economics or similar STEM courses
• Solid foundations of statistics and data science / analytics projects management is preferred
• Outstanding skills of communication, collaboration, project management, problem solving, and an excellent team player
• Strong interest in process optimisation and improvement
