Team Introduction
The Global Brand Operations team provides best-in-class managed services support for Premium Brand Products - both reservation and auction, driving excellent customer service, and enabling revenue and working closely with customers and product teams to ensure product market fit. We're a global team with presence in 17 offices.
Our teams comprise of product specialists who enable flawless ad campaign executions, ensuring an optimized experience for clients, brand partners, sales teams and our product teams by providing technical and operational expertise by offering best-in-class service and product insights to uplevel platform capabilities for brands of all sizes.
We are looking for live streaming specialist to join our team as a Tik Tok Live Product Specialist to be based out of Singapore. You will be working closely with leading brands on their live streaming campaigns on Tik Tok. You will be the product specialist for anything related to live streaming. You will collaborate with brands, media agencies and production companies and with internal teams from sales, product, research & development, and content moderation to ensure brands' successful live streaming campaigns on Tik Tok.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the Tik Tok Live expert, providing guidance to colleagues and brands on running successful live streaming campaigns. Share best practices and address questions related to technical, operational, creative, and paid media campaign aspects to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct consultation video calls with brands, media agencies, and production companies to offer expert guidance and support. This includes instructions on streaming to Tik Tok using professional streaming software, generating RTMP stream keys, and utilizing the tools available for brands to effectively manage their live streams on Tik Tok.
- Manage internal processes to ensure the smooth execution of live streams, continuously improving and streamlining these processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Review brands' paid-media campaigns to ensure proper setup and provide recommendations for improving campaign performance.
- Monitor brands' live streams in real-time, identify potential issues, and participate in ad hoc calls to provide assistance as needed.
- Discuss live stream metrics and analytics with colleagues and brands, and offer recommendations for future improvements.
- Develop guides, manage documentation, and conduct training sessions for colleagues and brands.
- Own the set-up process, campaign management, QA and reporting for reservation and auction managed service campaigns.
- Monitor managed service campaign delivery to ensure campaigns reach the target audience, run smoothly, and exceed brands' expectations; this includes collaborating with teams on creative approvals, troubleshooting issues, managing scheduled and ad hoc report requests, and escalating issues to internal and external teams.
- Serve as the key point of contact and support for Client Solutions in technical and operational client communications.
- Partner with Sales, Client Solutions and Product to collect customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve our products and services.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High proficiency in English and Mandarin is required as this role involves external client-facing responsibilities and support markets
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in live streaming video production and operations, with a solid understanding of all aspects of live video production.
- Proficiency in live streaming software such as OBS Studio, v Mix, Wirecast, Tik Tok Live Studio, and similar software/hardware. Familiarity with RTMP streaming protocols and other live streaming technologies.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting continuously to changing business needs.
- Although this role is primarily conducted during regular working hours, you might be required to work evenings or weekends on a limited basis.
- Experience within an Ad Operations role and/or technical client service experience
- Proactive attitude with attention to detail, excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, relevant technical studies, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in live streaming on different social media platforms and familiarity with their live streaming solutions.
- Familiarity with video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere pro) and graphics design software (such as Adobe Photoshop)
- Experience helping clients execute custom campaigns centered around specific performance KPIs
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and through the proper escalation process
- Strong project management skills.
- Self-motivated, positive, and eager to make a difference, with the ability to excel both in a team environment and when working independently.
- Experience managing branding & performance-based advertisers with a deep understanding of their challenges (preferably from agency background)
- Experience managing and executing campaigns on reservation and auction ad platforms
- Experience monitoring and analyzing ad campaigns, to identify optimization opportunities for improving performance
