Platform Strategy is designed to empower sellers, creators, and users by building a dynamic and inclusive e-commerce ecosystem. We focus on driving sustainable growth through innovative social commerce solutions, category development, and strong partnerships. By combining engaging content with seamless shopping experiences, Tik Tok Shop aims to unlock new opportunities for businesses while enhancing value for users worldwide.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Based on the development plan of the Southeast Asian e-commerce platform, sort out the development plans and strategies for brand merchants; classify different types of merchants into tiers, and adopt targeted measures to drive the positive development of the supply ecosystem.
  • Define business-related indicators for brand merchants to track business progress; establish an indicator system, identify abnormal indicator situations, and formulate corresponding response strategies.
  • For brand merchants, combine the platform's business objectives to develop operational methods, allocate resources, and design product functions—all to promote the positive development of the brand ecosystem and achieve overall growth of the platform's core business; coordinate with cross-country and cross-departmental teams to implement the aforementioned strategies.
  • Develop and deliver brand merchant operation methodologies to support the growth of individual brands on the platform.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or above
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce strategy; experience in brand corporate is preferred; or background in advertising business
  • Proficiency in data analysis, excellent skills in information collection and integration; capable of independently analyzing indicators, formulating comprehensive demand solutions, and driving phased implementation.
  • Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to mobilize and collaborate with different business teams.
  • Big picture thinking, structured, organized, and experienced in managing projects in different scales (planning, root cause identification, risk mitigation, and process optimization)
  • Adaptable, fast learner, highly motivated, and versatile player with some exposure in ops and commercial
