About the Team

E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team striving to achieve full satisfaction from customers, promoting a sustainable and risk-free sales environment, and providing the perfect purchase experience. Service and Moderation Team (SMT) is part of the GNE organization. Our mission is to deliver trustworthy and excellent service experiences for every user of Tik Tok Shop. SMT is looking for a regional service delivery head role to manage our service delivery on a day-to-day basis and drive continuous improvement together with inhouse teams and BPO suppliers.

You will partner with the regional and global business leaders, ensuring the people plans are aligned to the business strategy. In this role, you will also influence and steer strategy, driving change to develop people capability and support e-commerce ambition growth plan of market launch, while empowering our talents to grow the company. To be successful in this role, you will understand the business priorities and translate them into a people agenda that supports the business as it grows. You will need a flexible skillset, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. You will work with a diverse and international team cross functionally and regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with your assigned business unit(s) and ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance when appropriate, including talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Manage employee disciplinary issues and provide advice to business leaders on ways to manage each case.
  • Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, HR operations, and other HR teams to implement solutions.
  • Drive employee engagement agenda for the employees in your business unit(s).
  • Be the ambassador of Tik Tok organizational culture. Plan and implement organizational culture activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years HR experience, HRBP experience preferred.
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and ability to drive programs independently.
  • Analytical and data management skills with experience translating data into action planning.
  • Interpersonal communication skills and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in the technology or Internet business preferred.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118,560 - $216,600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
