We design and develop features that integrate regulatory and compliance requirements with engaging, user-centric experiences, ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and enjoyable platform for our global community.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at Tik Tok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at Tik Tok.

Internships at Tik Tok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to Tik Tok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Your Responsibilities:

  • Launch feature and infrastructure improvements, including A/B tests, to enhance user experience.
  • Work closely with engineering, designers, legal, and other product teams to develop and refine solutions.
  • Analyze metrics and data to measure impact, identify opportunities, and inform product decisions.
  • Diagnose product bugs and work with teams to drive solutions.
  • Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform product development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform product decisions
  • Clear and concise communication skills, able to enable effective collaboration with global, cross-functional teams to get things done
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of product thinking to develop well-balanced solutions valued by users
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments, showing a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset to navigate change and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Field of study in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Experience or strong interest in digital regulations and compliance
