Responsibilities

We are looking for entrepreneurial spirits to join our Monetization Strategy team. You will have a ground floor opportunity to shape monetization efforts for Tik Tok. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future.

The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization provides business-critical insights using analysis and financial modeling, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

• Plan revenue targets for international advertising businesses, and calculate detailed financial indicators such as revenue and cost for overall projects and related ROI.
• Create strong understanding of the market size, major competitors, and advertising strategies on the different monetization products, such as shop ads, search ads, creative and so on.
• Assist the business team in conducting internal operational analysis, identifying problem areas, and coordinating with relevant departments to build solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or tech corporate strategy
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis and financial modeling
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Passion for digital advertising and social media monetization

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156,600 - $288,216 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
