Responsibilities

Our team is responsible for the recommendation algorithms of video creation tools globally, overseeing recommendation distribution and user growth optimization across all apps of Cap Cut, including Jianying, Cap Cut, Hypic, so as to enhance content distribution efficiency and user growth efficiency

What You Will Do

• Optimize the core recommendation algorithms and strategy of video creation tools globally, including Cap Cut, Hypic, etc.
• Enhance user growth efficiency by optimizing distribution efficiency of content created by Cap Cut, Hypic, etc.
• Optimize user experiences during creation via a deep understanding of user behavior and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structure and algorithms.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with passion for tackling challenging problems.
• Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.
• Strong practical ability, papers published in relevant competitions and top academic conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) are preferred.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136,800 - $259,200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
