Responsibilities:

We're seeking a writer to work closely with Product Management, Product Operations, Regional Operations, Design, and Localization teams to craft compelling campaign content for Tik Tok LIVE. Your writing will effectively educate users while driving engagement with product features. Collaborating with local operations teams and localization specialists, you'll ensure high-quality GTM materials tailored to the Japan market. Additionally, you'll contribute to maintaining and refining our style guidelines.

You're independent, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving. You have experience juggling multiple projects and prioritizing them to have the greatest impact on your team and the company. You're also a strategic communicator, helping to define product narratives in conjunction with your team.

• Write and own the quality of Tik Tok campaigns and content in Japanese.
• Collaborate closely with operations managers, campaign managers, regional data team, designers, central content designers and localization to set a high bar for GTM content.
• Ensure consistency between global campaigns localized into Japan and local campaigns written in Japanese.
• Proof read and edit an amount of English content when needed.
• Contribute to our content guidelines and be a champion for best practices.
• Manage and prioritize projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

• Advanced Business Japanese and English skills
• 3+ years experience in digital writing for websites, campaigns, emails, notifications, or creatives.
• Deep understanding of social media and mobile application users in Japan.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in content strategy and copywriting.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product teams.
• Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to deal with rapid changes and situations that are not ideal.

Preferred qualifications:

• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements.
• Writing portfolio including, but not limited to: feature articles, ad campaigns, blog posts, product launch content, editorial calendar, email newsletters, style guide additions.
