At the heart of Tik Tok's mission lies creation. Tik Tok Camera Effect team is seeking talented software engineers with experience in Mobile Development, AI, CG, ML or AR to build the next-generation of camera effects using the latest AI technologies.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at Tik Tok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at Tik Tok.
Internships at Tik Tok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to Tik Tok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Online Assessment
Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in Tik Tok's technical online assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Build mobile features to support video creation and AI effects on the Tik Tok platform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver a high-quality user experience.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of mobile features for a large user base.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or master's program in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience in iOS or Android mobile development.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
• Prior internship experience in mobile development.
• Passionate about Tik Tok, augmented reality, as well as creating the most fun, original and creative ideas and experiences.
