About the Team
The E-Commerce's Governance and Experience team at Tik Tok is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy not only for our users, but also for sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to lead the systematic design of content and creator governance strategy for the LATAM e-commerce market. This role requires a strong strategic mindset and operational acumen to balance business growth with content quality and platform risk, ensuring long-term, sustainable development of the creator ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of content and creator governance strategies for the LATAM market, ensuring a substantial balance between platform growth and low-quality content risk.
- Design ecosystem governance mechanisms to improve platform vitality and health—these mechanisms may include creator stratification, creator quality, enforcement and incentive frameworks, or traffic controls.
- Build a comprehensive monitoring and analytics framework to track creator behavior and content supply-demand dynamics. Leverage both quantitative data and qualitative signals to identify pain points affecting content quality, merchant/creator performance, and user experience.
- Collect and respond to merchant, creator, and user feedback. Translate complex governance needs into abstract product modules and systems that drive better transparency and understanding across stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, algorithm, and engineering teams to drive smooth execution and alignment across product domains.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Self-driven, solutions-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong product intuition and design capability, with a customer-centric mindset and a structured approach to product execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Strong familiarity with e-commerce ecosystems; experience in merchant-facing products, governance, or strategy-related domains is highly preferred.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156,864 - $296,020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.
Additional Information for Los Angeles County (Unincorporated) Candidates
