About the Video Creation Team

The Tik Tok Intelligent Creation team, part of the Tik Tok engineering organization, is an international R&D group tasked with building creative capabilities for Tik Tok. We're dedicated to productizing AI and multimedia technologies to create world-class creation experiences for Tik Tok users. Our tech stack includes front-end, back-end, mobile, and desktop development, as well as multimedia technologies like audio/video processing and AR effects, in addition to vision and graphic algorithms. Our team spans major cities in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou etc), Singapore, as well as the United States (San Jose, Seattle, and Los Angeles etc). Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product/design and other engineering teams to define a world-class video creation experience.
• Design and implement user-facing features of Tik Tok video creation software using the latest technology.
• Build reusable software components with robust code and clear documentation, and deliver high quality work.
• Analyze and optimize Android/iOS applications for quality, efficiency, and performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Solid foundation in computer science. Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Have a good foundation in languages such as Java / C++ / Swift / Objective-C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
