We are a product facing team and you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team (Product, Research, Design, and Data) to define and build solutions for creators who inspire members of our community every day.

Internships at Tik Tok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Build new features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world.
• Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems.
• Participate in technical discussions related to team's product and engineering work.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline;

• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026;

• Experience with Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++.

• As a condition of employment, all successful candidates must be able to establish authorization to work in the United States. For this position, the Company does not provide sponsorship or any immigration-related benefits.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.

• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
