We are looking for a curious, analytical, and commercially minded Analyst to join the Proposition & Commercial Strategy team at Reuters News Agency.

In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, editorial, finance, data, and sales) to turn data into insight and insight into action.

You will help us understand market dynamics, customer behavior, competitive trends, and proposition performance—equipping the team with the evidence needed to confidently shape strategy and continuously improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Competitor Research

Gather and analyze market intelligence, industry trends, and competitor offerings

Identify emerging opportunities and risks impacting Reuters propositions

Carry out complex research and data analysis in support of business unit or company strategies, the strategy planning process, and/or or key operational issues

Data & Performance Analysis
-
Track KPIs for propositions and overall business performance
-
Build dashboards and reports to monitor adoption, engagement, and revenue impact
-
Conduct financial analysis to support optimization
-
Modeling & Business Case Support
-
Develop financial models and scenario analyses for new propositions
-
Assist in building business cases for investment decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with product, editorial, marketing, finance, data and sales teams

Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to inform go-to-market plans
About You: You’re a fit for the role of Analyst, Agency Proposition & Commercial strategy if you have the following required qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in analytics, market research, or strategy or proposition roles (media, news, or technology preferred)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Proficiency in MS applications, specifically Power
Point and Excel:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with financial modeling and KPI tracking
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
