Senior Developer – Pagero E-banking

We are now looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join a close‑knit team of experienced engineers developing an innovative, global product in business transactions. Pagero E-banking delivers seamless banking flows and payment management, independent of bank or system.
Pagero has recently joined Thomson Reuters. Together, we are building the world’s largest open business network,Pagero Onesource, of which Pagero E-banking is a key part. Onesource helps companies digitalize and automate the management of supplier and customer invoices, handling technical and regulatory requirements across the entire order‑to‑cash,procure‑to‑pay, and logistics processes. This provides customers with secure, transparent, real‑time visibility — all through a single connection to Pagero Onesource. It is a global service supporting regions worldwide with local compliance.
Our product development teams work in a microservices ecosystem with a strong DevOps culture, owning the full lifecycle of their services.
You will work in an E-banking team, focusing on developing and improving our e‑banking platform to enable fast, reliable delivery and monitoring of payment transactions.
About the role
This is a 100% hybrid position, with a requirement to be in the office three days per week.
As a Senior Developer, you will:
- Together with your team, develop and maintain both backend and frontend solutions in our microservices architecture.
- Work with functional programming and JVM development in a modern environment including Scala, ZIO, Kubernetes, relational databases (PostgreSQL), asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ/AMQP), and REST APIs.
- Maintain and develop user interfaces using React and/or Angular.
- Contribute to the entire development process, from design to production.
About you
You are a good fit for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience with functional programming languages and JVM development, preferably Scala.
- Experience with Kubernetes, relational databases, asynchronous messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ/AMQP), and REST APIs.
- Fluent in English, with good spoken and written Swedish.
Nice to have:
- Experience developing and maintaining user interfaces with React and/or Angular.
- Experience working within finance, ERP, or related industries, providing a deeper understanding of digital payment solutions.
Additionally, you:
- Enjoy solving complex problems that require close collaboration with others.
- Thrive in an open development culture where code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions are natural ways to learn and share knowledge.
- Have experience with multiple software ecosystems and are eager to explore new ones.
- Are able to successfully pass an extended background check.

Som Fullstack-utvecklare kommer du att:

Om dig
Du passar för rollen som Fullstack-utvecklare om du har följande kvalifikationer:
- Kandidatexamen inom datavetenskap, ingenjörsvetenskap
- 5+ års professionell erfarenhet inom mjukvaruutveckling.
- Erfarenhet av funktionella språk och JVM-utveckling, gärna Scala.
- Erfarenhet av Kubernetes, relationsdatabaser, asynkrona kösystem (t.ex.
- RabbitMQ/AMQP) och REST API.
- Flytande engelska och goda kunskaper i att tala och skriva svenska.
Meriterande:
- Erfarenhet av underhåll och utveckling av användargränssnitt/React/Angular.
- Erfarenhet av arbete inom finans, ERP eller närliggande branscher där du har
- införskaffat dig en djupare förståelse för digitala betalningslösningar.
Dessutom:
- Tycker om att lösa komplexa problem som kräver tätt samarbete med andra
- Trivs i en öppen utvecklingskultur där kod granskningar, parprogrammering och
- design diskussioner är naturliga sätt att få feedback, lära sig och dela kunskap.
