Sponsorship Sales Manager, Pharma & Healthcare Events This is a full-time position based in London (Canary Wharf) with hybrid working available.

Looking for a highly rewarding sales role allowing a great deal of autonomy? The kind of role where you’re acting as a consultant, creatively compiling and selling custom sponsorship packages that meet your clients’ needs? Like the sound of working with some of the biggest pharma and healthcare brands in the business? Then this might be the role for you.

Reuters Events are looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to sell tailored event sponsorship packages across our international portfolio of pharmaceutical events. In this varied and lucrative role, you'll partner with some of the world’s most renowned healthcare and pharmaceutical brands and selling a range of sponsorship packages on our thought leadership-led events.

Reuters Events combines Reuters' globally trusted brand, scale and editorial excellence with a leading portfolio of B2B events. We provide content-led conferences for professionals in a variety of specialized industry sectors including energy, pharmaceutical, automotive, insurance, finance and legal (to name a few!) to complement our extensive, in-depth business media content. We exist to deliver strategic business intelligence and foster the relationships that safeguards success at leading organisations worldwide.

About the Role

As a Sponsorship Sales Manager at Reuters Events

you will: - Work collaboratively with other executives across the Pharmaceuticals team to sell tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global brands. You’ll have a particular focus on selling across events with a significant market presence in the USA.

  • Report to the Head of Sales for Healthcare and Pharma. As an individual contributor, you won’t have management responsibility and will drive revenue across the healthcare portfolio as lead seller.

  • Use your great command of the written word to both gauge what our clients actually need, communicating value propositions tailored to their business goals.

  • Be curious around changes in business markets. We’re looking for someone that enjoys learning how shifting market dynamics create challenges and opportunities for our clients, and how our events can help them navigate change.

  • Work closely and collaborate with our Conference Production team to establish the best audiences and maximize the success of our conferences and events.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Sponsorship Sales Manager at Reuters Events, if you have:

  • Demonstrable experience in the events industry, with experience of selling event sponsorship packages and crafting bespoke sponsorship solutions.

  • The commercial acumen to spot opportunities and drive the future growth of the pharma and healthcare portfolios.

  • Excellent communication skills. We're looking for someone who's comfortable representing the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses. You'll be comfortable crafting engaging copy and written value propositions whilst building relationships with global C-level executives.

  • Demonstrable B2B sales and new business development experience, ideally in an events, conference-led or publishing setting.

  • A collaborative attitude. We're team players at Reuters Events and are looking for someone who can succeed both individually and within a team-based environment.

  • The desire to progress and develop your skills further. We have an excellent (uncapped!) commission scheme that rewards your achievements and are keen to grow and invest in our sales team.

  • The ability to adapt to changes in markets and articulate potential solutions to a range of stakeholders over the phone, in person and on video calls.

Please Note: Complete applications must be submitted by 23:59 (BST) on Sunday 10th May January 2026. Early applications are encouraged.
