Partnerships Manager
The Partnerships & Alliances (P&A) team at Thomson Reuters is responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of strategic partnerships. From strategy development, through assessment, recruitment, negotiation, onboarding, launch and ongoing management; the Partnerships & Alliances team oversees numerous partnerships working collaboratively in a variety of commercial models.

About the Role
In this role as a Partnerships Manager, you will:

Promote Thomson Reuters products and services to partner sales teams, helping them understand collaboration benefits

Develop joint business plans with partners to achieve sales targets and execute strategies for growing the pipeline of mutual sales opportunities

Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Product and Marketing, to plan and execute demand generation initiatives with partners
-
Track, analyze, and report on key partner performance metrics, and use data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and demonstrate ROI
-
Engage Thomson Reuters direct sales teams to articulate the unique value of each partner and support their understanding of collaboration benefits
-
Keep partners informed about product strategy and roadmaps, and advise Segment of partner product strategies and roadmaps
-
Manage overall partner relationships including managing day-to-day relationship, ensuring seamless collaboration across TR cross-functional teams and the partner, collecting partner feedback, representing the partner internally to TR, resolving partner conflicts and escalating appropriately
About You
You may be a fit for the role of Partnerships Manager if your background includes:
-
Bachelor's degree w/6+ years experience in a similar role in Partner management, including sales, business development and managing large customer relationships
-
5+ years’ industry experience at a minimum working for or selling into software/SaaS companies; Experience working with global systems integrators and global accounting and consulting firms
-
Proven track record of driving sales through partnership channels across technology and services industries
-
Deep understanding of the AI and software technology landscape, including current trends and competitive dynamics
-
Expert business case development and financial modeling to quantify value, evaluate options, and support investment decisions.

Deep understanding of customer and competitor landscapes, trends, and drivers across Thomson Reuters industry verticals; able to translate data into actionable insights.

Expert technology fluency with a strong grasp of current tech trends, market drivers, and strategic implications for partnerships.
-
Strategic account planning and relationship management with complex, large, global accounts; strong industry network building and partnering skills.

Proven success leading sophisticated, strategic negotiations and delivering on subsequent agreements and partnership outcomes.

Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and prioritization skills; effective in dynamic environments and willing to travel periodically for partner meetings/events.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $119,700 USD - $222,300 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
