Credit Controller I (French Speaking)| Customer to Cash
Position Overview
The Credit Controller I researches complex customer accounts and billing histories across multiple systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Billtrust, High Radius) to determine the right resolution path, resolve disputes, and secure payment. This role manages a daily portfolio end-to-end—negotiating fair compromises, maximizing receivable recovery, and minimizing credits/cancellations—while delivering professional service that protects long-term customer relationships in both English and French.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Credit Controller I, you will support:

Conduct extensive research and analysis of account history (usage, payment history, subscriptions, and contracts) and check all available computer systems (SAP, Salesforce, Bill trust, High Radius) to determine the appropriate action necessary for successfully handling customer problems and inquiries

Contact customers (by phone calls, emails, and letters) to secure payment and resolve billing disputes in a manner that is fair and equitable, and maximize receivable recoveries.

Provide professional and attentive services that preserve the ongoing relationship with each customer.

Analyze and research individual account histories that are complicated and multi-faced including such things as billing disputes, unresolved installation, etc.

Exercise independent judgment in researching disputed balances and negotiating compromise with customers.

Manage individual portfolios on a day-to-day basis with no backlogs and minimal cancellation/credit adjustments

About You
You're fit for the role of Credit Controller I if your background includes:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; both in English and French.

Strong knowledge of Thomson Reuters business, products, service and customers

Ability to deal with professional client base and complex customer issues with limited supervision.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to exercise good judgement.
