Accounting Analyst (People Cost Accounting) at Thomson Reuters
About the role
We are looking for Accounting Analysts to join our team in Gdansk.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support accurate and compliant financial statements.

In this opportunity as an Accounting Analyst, you will:
Responsibilities

Support finance operations in preparation and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.

Monitor and follow up on reconciling items, escalating issues as appropriate.

Perform month-end close responsibilities with a good understanding of the close process and financial reporting.

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders through regular communication.
-
Assist in monthly financial reporting and prepare account analyses as needed.
-
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Accounting Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:
Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies

At least 1-2 years of professional accounting experience.

Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
-
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
-
High attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
-
Strong English communication skills.
Certifications / Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Poland, the base compensation range for this role is 67,900 PLN - 126,100 PLN. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
