Location/Division Specific Information This position is based on-site in Logan, UT and supports site operations within the Single Use Division (SUD). The Manager of Continuous Improvement is a key member of the Site Leadership Team and partners cross-functionally across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EH&S, HR, Finance, Facilities, and Supply Chain to drive operational excellence and productivity improvements.

Discover Impactful Work:The Manager of Continuous Improvement serves as a highly visible change leader responsible for building and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement. This role champions Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and Lean transformation initiatives that improve site productivity, accelerate growth, and deliver measurable cost savings.

As a change agent, you will influence at all levels of the organization, mentor teams, and lead structured improvement efforts that drive sustainable results. You will align continuous improvement strategies with business objectives and ensure projects are executed with clear ownership, strong governance, and measurable impact.

A Day in the Life:

  • Act as a visible change agent on the manufacturing floor, challenging the status quo and modeling Lean leadership behaviors.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in the application of PPI and Lean principles (5S, Visual Controls, A3, SMED, Flow, GEMBA, Standard Work, etc.).
  • Charter, facilitate, and sustain Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, productivity, quality, and growth.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute CI initiatives aligned with value stream and site strategic objectives.
  • Manage and drive the site Productivity Funnel, ensuring clear project ownership, accountability, and measurable financial impact.
  • Capture, validate, and report cost savings and productivity improvements using digital tracking systems and standardized reporting tools.
  • Leverage digital data systems (ERP/MRP, SAP, dashboards, Tableau, Power BI, SQL databases, etc.) to identify trends, uncover waste, and drive fact-based decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain visual management dashboards that provide real-time performance metrics to site leadership and value stream teams.
  • Train and coach site resources to build internal CI capability and leadership alignment.
  • Partner with leadership to embed continuous improvement into daily management systems and long-term strategic plans.
  • Drive standardization and best practice sharing across site operations.

Operational & Technical Excellence

  • Deep knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (5S, Visual Controls, A3, SMED, Flow, GEMBA, Standard Work, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives from problem definition through standardization and sustainment.
  • Experience delivering fact-based decisions using data analysis tools (SQL, Access, Tableau, Minitab, ERP/MRP systems, PowerBI etc.).
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Experience working within quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong digital data management skills

How Will You Get Here:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement certification preferred.

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years people leadership experience
  • Experience working within ISO quality standards and regulated environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading cost savings and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Experience coaching alignment between strategic business plans and Lean improvement roadmaps.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable operational and financial results.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess manufacturing floor conditions and implement corrective measures to maintain production flow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn business systems (SAP, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility across cross-functional teams.
