Job Description
The Industrial Ecosystem Lead South LATAM will be responsible for developing and accelerating growth across priority industrial segments.
This role will drive direct customer engagement, develop strategic industrial accounts, and orchestrate cross-portfolio opportunities across Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions.
The objective is to build pipeline, unlock underpenetrated markets, and position Thermo Fisher as a strategic partner within industrial ecosystems such as Food & Beverage, Mining, Cement and Safety & Security.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
Develop Industrial Growth Strategy:
- Identify and activate new business opportunities across priority industrial segments
- Define account development plans and prioritize high-potential opportunities
- Monitor industrial investment trends and major projects
2. Drive Strategic Account Development
- Build executive-level relationships within key industrial accounts
- Own industrial opportunity pipeline and conversion tracking
- Coordinate internal resources to maximize share-of-wallet and cross-portfolio penetration
3. Lead Cross-Portfolio Execution
- Drive integrated customer value propositions across Thermo Fisher Scientific divisions
- Coordinate direct and channel execution models depending on customer and opportunity profile
- Collaborate across divisions to accelerate industrial growth
4. Expand Thermo Fisher Presence in Industrial Ecosystems
- Position Thermo Fisher as a strategic partner within industrial ecosystems
- Expand relationships through networking, industry engagement and customer development
- Support pipeline generation and revenue growth within priority segments
Minimum Qualifications (must have):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with strong sales results
- Proven hunting and pipeline generation capabilities
- Strong customer-facing presence and executive relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence across matrix organizations
- Strong negotiation, communication and business acumen
- Experience managing complex opportunities and strategic accounts
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
- Experience of working in a global setting and dealing with different cultures
- Experience in industrial, food & beverage, mining or applied markets
- Cross-functional / matrix experience
- MBA or business education preferred
