Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Account manager to join our Thermo Chemical Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our strategic product portfolio in South Korea. You will play a key role in driving business development, building customer relationships, and achieving or exceeding sales goals. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to customers to enhance awareness and promote our Thermo Chemical (Alfa Aesar, Acros, Fisher Chemical, Fisher Bioreagent)
  • Critical role to drive bulk sales and expand market share in strategic segments (semiconductor, clean energy, materials)
  • Responsible for developing new accounts to build a sustainable pipeline and support long-term growth
  • Demonstrate expertise in the assigned product portfolio and use advanced selling skills to connect with customers and close sales
  • Develop in-depth technical knowledge on anchoring technology products
  • Drive sales activities to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Capture new opportunities to develop leads and sell a wide portfolio of products and services
  • Manage market performance and develop presentations and proposals
  • Prospect for new opportunities and actively managing target customers
  • Travel as required (50% or more)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the chemical industry, across industry or functional roles
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related field; or equivalent knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Clean Energy, Battery, Semi-Conductor and materials, Bulk/Catalog Project work
  • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing technical and market information
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills (Power BI, Sales Force etc)
  • Proficient in English communication and presentation
