The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team are at the forefront of strategic decision making providing impactful analysis and insight for senior leaders. The successful candidate for the Principal Financial Analyst, Business Transformation role will focus on bringing efficiency and optimization to advance our financial and business goals. In this position you will lead high‑impact projects and deliver complex financial analyses, design executive‑ready reports and build scalable financial tools, leverage technical expertise and automation to simplify decisions and accelerate outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced decision support to leadership by designing, building, and enhancing models, dashboards, presentations, and other decision tools.

  • Partners with senior leaders to define, track, and analyze key performance metrics that drive business outcomes.

  • Delivers executive-ready analyses leveraging confidential HR data that support ongoing financial activities and business transformation initiatives.

  • Manages forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for assigned projects, assessing risks and safeguarding key financial metrics.

  • Collaborates with departmental leaders, and cross-functional teams to surface issues and develop actionable solutions.

  • Sets direction, reviews deliverables, and ensures work meets quality standards.

  • Recommends and implements improvements to systems, tools, and processes to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

  • Assists with annual financial audits and monthly / quarterly reviews as needed.

  • Leads or contributes to special projects and enterprise initiatives as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8 years).

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills with ability to function independently as a trusted partner to senior leadership.

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance principles, practices, and trends, ACCA / CPA / CIMA (or equivalent) will be an advantage.

  • Ability to translate complex data and variance analyses into clear insights for executive-level stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen with ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

  • Experience handling confidential HR data with discretion.

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation, Power BI and AI experience to develop financial tools and automation.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and complexity, agile problem solver.

  • Executive presence with strong presentation and storytelling skills.

  • Influences effectively across all levels of the organization.
